This weekend I…

June 28, 2010

did not get enough sleep.

Sewed myself a skirt that is too big – better than too small!

Cleaned every floor in the house.

told Don Mrs. Kitty is the nicest cat we’ve EVER had.

Got a phone call from a dear friend in PA.

Watched Leap Year – predictable but cute.

Saw Toy Story – great fun!

Enjoyed not having painters at our home for two days.

Trimmed trees with Don.

Talked about going to a rodeo but didn’t.

Talked about going swimming but didn’t.

Painted the sunporch floor in checkerboard – fantastic! Photos to come!

    I love the “talked about…but didn’t” parts!!

Sometimes the story of my life. lol.

I think that not getting enough sleep is okay if what you replaced it with was something fun. And a checkboard floor fits that bill just fine! Although I’d prefer someone else do the painting 🙂

I can’t wait to see Toy Story 3. “Epic” is the word I’ve heard thrown around by many to describe it. And the pastors at church have now used it twice in the teaching as an example of something.

Can’t wait to see pics of the porch. Take it easy this week okay??

we saw Toy Story this weekend as well! And I DID cry! Probably because James is off to college come Aug. 14th! Almost got to the ‘I can’t stop crying stage’ but was able to pull it together before the lights came up! Yikes! This is gonna be tuff!

I cried too, when he gave his toys away, but in a good way. And when your last kid is leaving for college you are allowed to cry ALL YOU WANT TO. Miss you, sweet friend. xoox
