Birthday quilt for a special little girl

December 20, 2010

I started a tradition, four grandkids ago, to give each one a quilt on their first birthday. I’ve never been on time yet.

Til this year.

Miss Jae Beth will turn one on Christmas Day – our Christmas baby! Since we are retired I was determined to get this one done on time, and I actually made the deadline!

She’s a Christmas Day baby, so of course she needed a Christmas themed quilt. Christmas paper dolls 🙂

It should be perfect for passing on to her own little girl someday.

For right now, it’s to be enjoyed just by her, with love from her Grammy.

What a sweet gift He gave us last year, when you arrived. Happy first Birthday Jae Beth!

It’s gorgeous, and I’m glad I was able to enlarge the photos. I wish my Grandma had made me something so precious…..what a blessing you are to your little treasures. Blessings!

What an adorable quilt … for an adorable little girl. 😉

One of the things I like best about being retired is how I now have time to quilt. 😉

Enjoy this week leading up to Christmas.
